Sara + Andrew’s wedding in California

A beautiful wedding at a really cute location in Long Beach, California. I was so happy to be a part of this wedding! The clients were referred to me by my friend Britney who was unable to shoot the wedding herself because she was a maid of honor at the event.

The funny backstory to this wedding was that I actually went ring shopping with Britney and Andrew last summer! It was just by chance that I was there, as I was staying with Britney for a few days to shoot a wedding in LA, and that was the only time Britney and Andrew could sneak in a ring shopping date. I didn’t meet Sara until the morning of her wedding, in her sexy blue satin robe that said “Bride” on the back.

Thanks to Joe Rumore, who was at the wedding with Britney, and second shot some of the day for fun, and to help out a bit when the timeline went a bit off schedule (as they always do). Hey, a photographer can never really put their camera down, can they?

As child I spent a good chunk of each summer up at the lakes of New Hampshire. So naturally it is VERY exciting for me to be able to go up and visit again while working to capture the spirit of lake living and lake partying!

Their wedding reception was held at the Lake Sunapee Yacht Club, a stunning location.

Had the amazing opportunity to work with one of California’s cutest and super talented photographers, Britney from Turn Loose the Art. We had a great time scouting out the Santa Monica and Laguna Beach areas while I was there. But even better was being able to work at one of the most unique locations I have ever seen a wedding held at: Marvimon.
