From LA I drove through the Hollywood hills, Santa Monica and Venice, Santa Barbara, Big Sur, Monterey (sadly, it was dark by the time I got to Monterey) and into San Fran. What an awesome drive it was! And I did all this driving in, what northern CA called, the “Epic storm in nearly half a Century.” Torrential rains, gusty winds up to 60mph, and fog. My day of site seeing in San Fran was soggy and chilly, but I saw all the sites and fell in love with the city, despite flooding streets, and trees cracking and falling to the sidewalks below.

Side note: Please, cut up plastics before putting them in the trash. Try to be as good to the earth, and it’s creatures, as you possibly can. The poor seal in the last photo of this entry has cuts on his neck from a plastic strap.

The funny backstory to this wedding was that I actually went ring shopping with Britney and Andrew last summer! It was just by chance that I was there, as I was staying with Britney for a few days to shoot a wedding in LA, and that was the only time Britney and Andrew could sneak in a ring shopping date. I didn’t meet Sara until the morning of her wedding, in her sexy blue satin robe that said “Bride” on the back.

Thanks to Joe Rumore, who was at the wedding with Britney, and second shot some of the day for fun, and to help out a bit when the timeline went a bit off schedule (as they always do). Hey, a photographer can never really put their camera down, can they?
