Erica and Justin’s wedding took place at the Wianno Club in Osterville on Cape Cod. It was a humid day, but with the ocean backdrop and oodles of fun friends and family by your side who even cares about the humidity, right?
Erica was so relaxed that 30 minutes before she needed to be ready she ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. Her comfort food. I loved her laid back attitude, and her taste in comfort foods! As well, I adored her take on strapless dresses: Why would she want to be tugging at her dress all day? Add some custom cap sleeve/straps to the dress, please! (PS. She was 100% correct, while most stores sell an abundance of sleeveless/strapless dresses, most brides and BM’s end up tugging at the top of the dress unknowingly all day, and it shows in the photos.)
The highlight of the day was their set up of cornhole, a game that I have recently learned about via friends out in the Ohio area but had never seen being played before. Actually, the biggest highlight of the day (for me) was learning that Erica’s mom is a photography teacher. For them to choose me as their photographer is such a wonderful compliment, so a special thank you to Erica’s mom for trusting in me with her daughter’s most special day!
