Laura + Matt at the Glen Manor House

Yesterday I had the honor of shooting David Bettencourt‘s sister’s wedding at the Glen Manor House, and it was a blast! Laura and Matt were a fantastic couple to work with, easy going and had a great sense of humor throughout the day. Bridal party was relaxed and a lot of fun to be around. That said, David was a goofball all day, but it was to be expected! (see below while we were shooting the family photos).

Thank you to David and both families for making sure the vendors were comfortable and well fed!

A rock-tabulous wedding at Belle Mer, Newport. The band, and the DJ, kept the dance floor packed, even though all the dinner courses. Did anyone even eat? I have no idea, but I do know that everyone had a great time with Elissa and Anthony!

DJ: On-Beat Music Entertainment (he actually was spinning vinyl, very cool!)

I had fun playing with off camera flash. Thanks to my photo pal Stacey Doyle, who was at the wedding with me and brought her gear along.

Jess + Dan’s backyard RI wedding

Casual, vibrant, fun! That’s how I would describe Jess and Dan’s Newport, and backyard, wedding.

I’ve known Jess for over a year now, so it was a such a pleasure to shoot her wedding for her! If only they had brought me on their tropical isle honeymoon too to photograph that as well!

Megan + Jamie at Glen Manor House

Megan and Jamie hired me on the spot about a year ago. They were a direct referral of two of my past clients, Kate and Chase, and Emily and Dennis. It was great to see so many familiar faces! Including Mr. PR Guy from Lexar who just loves to give me a hard time about being a SanDisk compact flash card user

I knew it was going to be a great wedding because of the connections to the other wonderful clients, but I really had no idea how FUN and SILLY Megan and Jamie are until their wedding day. Those two just love to laugh!

Danielle + David at Astors’ Beechwood in Newport

I had the great pleasure of working for Danielle and David last weekend over at Astor’s mansion. Danielle’s dad is in a band that plays at a lot of weddings and he had the opportunity to see me in action prior to hiring me. Everyone was so great to work with, thanks guys!
