Kara and Aaron had a lovely outdoor wedding at The Hellenic Center in Ipswich, MA. It was incredibly hot outside, but everyone kept their cool and enjoyed the sunny, July day.
During the ceremony I learned that Kara and Aaron had been dating since high school and had spent a significant amount of time apart while Aaron served overseas. The ceremony included some readings from letters they sent to each other during that time, and they were so touching.
The wedding took place on 4th of July weekend, but the dinner served was a family style Thanksgiving dinner. Fabulous merger of two US holidays, and the food was delicious!
