This weekend I spent many hours in the car, on my way to a wedding that took place on a family farm in West Virginia (more to come on that later this week). I never expected to see so much beauty along the highway’s edge. I was simply in awe from the time I left until the moment I got home. Friday afternoon much of the east coast was hit with crazy storms that not only included thunder and lightning but also hail, in some areas. As the evening wore on the sun came out, the clouds started to part, and mist rose up from the valleys and rivers between all of the peaks and trees. It was, simply put, stunning. This image was captured just as the sun was dipping below the horizon.
